Ayushmann Khurrana has become one of the most sought actors of Bollywood after giving back to back hits. What makes him different from other actors is the fact that he has acted in numerous movies which have touched many controversial or taboo subjects about which a number of people don’t even want to talk in the Indian society.
In the beginning of his career, he played the character of a sp*rm donor in “Vicky Donor” while recently, he portrayed a young person who is losing his hair. He has also played a character which suffered with er*ctile d*sfunction and now in his next release, he will be seen in the role of a gay person. We are talking about his upcoming movie “Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan” which is a love story of two gay men and focuses on the problems faced by homos*xuals in India.
When Ayushmann was asked as to why he has chosen such subjects, he says that cinema is a pretty powerful medium and he wants to use it to bring positive changes in the society. He further states that he wants families to talk about different issues which affect them regularly but they avoid talking about them.
As per Ayushmann, his aim is to entertain the family audiences and he wishes to give messages through his movies which make them sit and think about different issues. He further adds that he wants people to come out of their closets and start expressing themselves.
Directed by Hitesh Kewalya, “Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan” is slated to release on 21st February, 2020, and also stars Jitendra Kumar, Neena Gupta and Gajraj Rao in lead roles.
