Quite literally, the audience needs to take the title of the movie very seriously. The first 10 minutes of the movie is beautifully crafted and worth the watch. On the same side, it leaves you for wanting more which eventually disappoints you. With big star in the house, the movie has till now managed to draw audience to the cinema hall, but the storyline has been highly unsatisfactory.
Raghu, the protagonist played by Varun Dhawan, is an advertising executive whose life turns around in 360 degree after an unfortunate encounter with Liak (Nawazuddin Siddqui), who kill Raghu’s dear wife and son. Now both, the hero and the villain suffers from the heaps of emotions, violent grief and sleek cunning-ness subsequently. The story has all the elements of a hit – thrill, drama, entertainment, emotions, but what lacks is skillful co-ordination of all these.
Varun Dhawan, requires experience before he can don such roles, and come out of the preceding flamboyant characters that he have essayed. Raghu seeks out to take revenge from the murderer of his happy life. But there is more dark intensity which you needs to dig in to know the true story. As usual, the one who takes away the limelight is Mr. Nawazuddin Siddiqui- powerhouse of acting, but because of the poor execution of the plot, the films misses that crisp factor.
The first half of the movie will not interest you at all, and you will feel stuck in between leaving the hall or not. All the logic defies by the end of the movie and is dragged tremendously. If you are planning to watch the movie, actually don’t miss the beginning. And, if you haven’t planned, do it for the sake of Nawazuddin Siddiqui, who is the heart and soul of the movie.
