BCCI has finally announced Virat Kohli’s favorite Ravi Shastri as the head coach of Indian Cricket team.
Yes, Ravi Shastri has got the responsibility of heading the Indian team in all formats. On Monday, CAC interviewed 5 people i.e. Virender Sehwag, Ravi Shastri, Lalchand Rajput, Richard Pybus and Tom Moody.
However, Ravi Shastri led the race and got selected. The interview was taken by Laxman, Ganguly and Tendulkar. They have offered him contract till 50 overs World Cup, which would be played in 2019.
We all were eager to know who India’s next coach would be, after Kumble resigned from the position. There were many reports about rift between Kohli and Kumble and so, everyone hoped that the new coach would sort out these things and develop that bonding once again.
Ravi Shastri’s 1st assignment would start from the 26th of July during India’s tour to Sri Lanka.
Guess there won’t be anymore disputes because finally, Kohli has someone who would go his way!
