Bollywood Celebrities React To Sonu Nigam Controversy! Check Out How They Reacted! - RVCJ Media

Sonu Nigam shocked everyone yesterday morning with his comments on Azaan, which according to social media users were derogatory and annoying. This gave a good chance to them to thrash him brutally; many thought that he spoke against “Muslim community” but at the same time, there were some sensible people who understood that he didn’t mean to hurt any religion but was just voicing his opinion.

Sonu’s 4 tweets set social media on fire. Yesterday, Sonu didn’t speak a word about his posts, but today, he gave us the clarification that he’s against “Loudspeakers” and not against any “Religion”.

Even after his explanation, his fans and followers continued to criticize him. Yesterday, many biggies reacted to this matter; we are here with their tweets and statements.

Once again, some reactions were in favor of him while some were against him. Check them out…

Moreover, Hindustan Times got in touch with some celebrities and asked them about this matter. Check out what all they said;

Kailash Kher

“Sonu has highlighted an important aspect of our life. Inhoney yeh bahut gehri baat boli hain. I think we can’t impose religion on anyone. Humanity is the biggest religion. You will see people preaching love and harmony but how many of us follow it? I guess proper education is the need of the hour and that can only help people realise that we should give more importance to humanity and not religion. We all talk about change that we want to bring or have brought, but mujhe lagta hain abhi kuch bhi nahin badla hain. Badlao andar sey aani chahiye jaise Kabira ne bhi bola hain.”

Sona Mohapatra

“Any religion or anybody seeking spiritual salvation doesn’t need a plea — be it Muslims singing the azan or Hindus with their bhajans.”

Shaan

“I support what he has tweeted, not because he’s a friend but because he’s right. The law of the land is equal (for) all. Be it Azaan or Hanuman Chalisa chant or any other religious practice, one must see that noise pollution must be curtailed.”

Mahesh Bhatt

“This is an ‘engineered’ affair. I refuse to be part of this silly conflict.”
