The young actress from Kerala, Priya Prakash Varrier is once again making headlines but this time, it is not for good reasons. Unless you have been living under a rock, you must have an idea that she is the same girl who made everyone crazy with her one wink and became an Internet sensation overnight. The scene was from a romantic song of her movie “Oru Adaar Love” and now she is in news for her upcoming flick that is being titled as “Sridevi Bungalow”.
Priya is making her Bollywood debut with this movie and it is directed by Prasanth Mambully. However, after the teaser was released online on Sunday, people started slamming the makers for trying to gain benefit from the mysterious situation in which Sridevi lost her life.
It seems that Priya is playing the character of an actress who is very lonely and she also loses her life in the same manner as Sridevi lost by accidentally drowning in the bathtub.
Boney Kapoor, late actress Sridevi’s husband and film producer, has slapped a legal notice at the makers and the director of the movie has confirmed it.
He has accepted that they have received a legal notice but as per him, he has told Boney Kapoor that Sridevi is a common name and her main character also happens to be an actress. The director also tells that his movie is a suspense thriller and they are ready to fight the matter in the court.
However, the actress Priya has kept mum on the matter and she has not said anything regarding whether the movie is based on Sridevi’s life or not.

Priya was recently seen at the premiere of “Uri: The Surgical Strike” and she had a good time with actors Vicky Kaushal and Ranveer Singh. She also cleared the rumours regarding “Simmba” being offered to her as she denied any such news but also said that she would have loved it if it had been true.
