The whole world is presently feeling the wrath of novel COVID-19 (coronavirus) as more than 319K people have lost their lives and the numbers are still increasing at a high rate. India is under the fourth phase of lockdown which will get over by 1st June 2020 as the situation is still not very much under control in the country.
The Indian government was compelled to impose lockdown from 25th March 2020 as the number of coronavirus patients was increasing and remaining indoors is the best way to break the chain of the virus transmission. The government may have been able to control the pandemic to some extent by imposing lockdown but no one can deny the essential fact that it has harmed the economy of the nation in an adverse manner. Common public is pretty upset and worried about the future despite the fact that the Modi government has announced economic package for lifting up the economy of India.
It is quite necessary to keep the hopes of the citizens alive and at this point, the role of online content creators become more important. These content creators have made people laugh, cry, emotional and thoughtful in the past and now they are back in order to make people understand the gravity of the situation as well as make them realize that it is just a phase which will pass on and we will certainly bounce back as stronger and more determined.

A music video by the title of “Bounce Back Bihar” is going viral on the Internet for all the right reasons as it has touched the hearts of Indians. This video is a part of the campaign #BounceBackBihar which is a joint initiative of five media houses – Digital Commentary, RVCJ Media, Rusk Media, Bihari No 1 & Magadhi Boys.
The campaign contains nearly 36 videos in regional languages, such as Maithili, Bhojpuri, Magadhi, Hindi, etc. and what makes it more impactful is the presence of some well-known influencers including actor Ravi Bhushan Bhartiya, former Bigg Boss contestant Deepak Thakur and DGP of Bihar Gupteshwar Pandey.
The music video which was launched on all the social media networks – Facebook, Instagram and YouTube has been actively promoted by the media houses as it is focused on making people aware of the reality and is an attempt to make them realize that some basic precautions can save them from the lethal disease.
Public has showered love and affection on the video as well as the makers for the noble act that they are doing. We also hope that people understand the importance of remaining indoors and following the precautions which have been advised by the government and medical experts.
This is what Digital Commentary founder Aakash Kumar stated about the campaign,
“The aim Of this initiative was to aware maximum people in rural Bihar. So we decided to go ahead with the regional languages along with Hindi. Because I think regional language has a heart to heart connection”.
