It is said that a country’s image depends mainly on the fact as to how it treats its guests. Our government wants to attract more and more tourists towards India which in return will help the Indian economy to grow but sometimes such incidents take place which may spoil the mood of tourists and give them a bad or terrible experience.
In one such case, a Brazilian couple, Pietro Gustavo Robin and his wife Jersey were robbed of their iPhone from Akshardham temple by a minor boy. However, we must praise the Delhi police who not only caught the thief but also handed over them their iPhone and that too, just within one hour.
It so happened that on Tuesday, the couple was busy taking selfies outside the Akshardham temple. Just then, a minor boy who posed as a beggar approached them and asked for alms. When the couple refused, the boy waited for a little time and then suddenly grabbed their iPhone and ran away.
The couple immediately called the police and informed about the incident, Delhi police started the search and caught the thief from Shashi Garden within an hour of the theft.
Pietro works as a journalist while Jersey is a lawyer by profession. They were on a visit to India after their marriage.
