The Photographs Of Missing Children Are Printed On The Bottled Water In China! Here’s Why!

Children around the world are easy targets for human traffickers, they are also targeted for the organ harvesting rackets. They are abducted and transferred to some other location where they are sold or kept trapped. So when a child goes missing, the police authorities assume either they are dead or there’s a child trafficking racked behind their disappearance.

When a child is lost in our country, we often find pictures, posts, pamphlets seeking information about them.

A Chinese company selling bottled water saw the problem of missing children and the difficulties in tracking a missing person. So the company came up with an innovative idea, this will help the parents in tracking down their missing kid.

The Qingdao-based food company partnered with Baobeihuijia.com, which is an online database that tracks missing children. Together, they have launched mineral water bottles with pictures of missing children. This innovative idea would allow the bottles to include the photograph and details of the missing children, their parents’ contact details.

The are around 500,000 bottles launched by the company. The heart-wrenching slogan of this campaign is – “Baby, come home”.

The pictures and information wrapped on the bottles have been printed with permission from the parents. These water bottles are widely sold at supermarkets, airports and train stations, at crowded public places which will help in locating the children.

This innovative idea is inspired from a similar campaign in 1979. The CCTV News report said,

The initiative is akin to an attempt from 1979 when a bereaved father of six-year-old boy in New York City printed his son’s photo and information on milk cartons and distributed to neighbors, hoping he could be found. However, after 20 years, the boy was declared legally dead.
