Customer Had To Pay Unfair Cancellation Charges. He Left A Witty Tweet & Made Ola Reply

Ola and Uber have given us a lot of comfort with regards to traveling. In fact, the door to door pick-up and dropping services have made our lives easier. However, since the service is app-based, we do face issues with cancellation charges. Well, Ola has a rule that if a customer cancels the ride after confirming, he has to pay extra charges. On the other hand, if the ride is cancelled by the driver, the customer is not charged.

Unfortunately, many people face issues with cancellation these days. Even if the driver cancels the ride, the customer has to pay the charges. Not many people take an action against this; rather they prefer ignoring the issue. But there is one person who had a witty solution to tackle this issue.

He complained to Ola in a funny manner rather than cribbing about it or ignoring it. Even Ola loved his way of complaining and rewarded him with 2 samosas.

Abhishek Asthana (A regular customer of Ola) booked a cab to go to the airport. Now, even though the driver cancelled it, he was asked to pay the cancellation charges. He took to Twitter to hilariously describe this situation;

The tweet read, “Yesterday, Ola charged cancellation fee even when the Driver denied duty, it’s like u ask “Samosa hai?”

Shopkeeper says “No” & takes 10 Rs”

To this, Ola quickly replied;

“Charges reversed and sorry for the trouble. Now, where do we send the samosas?”

Well, Ola was not kidding here. They apologized and made sure to send 2 samosas to the dissatisfied customer. Ashok was happy to receive them and once again shared it on Twitter;

” And today I rcvd these at my door step. Well played @Olacabs :)”

Haha, since he paid the cancellation charges, Ola ensured to do something in an equally witty manner. If he had asked for something else, he would have surely got that too.
