The winners list of the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival Awards 2024 is out now and it won’t be wrong to say that Shah Rukh starrer “Jawan” had ruled the event just like the box-office.
While Shah Rukh Khan won the Best Actor award for “Jawan”, the lead actress Nayanthara also won the Best Actress award for the movie and Anirudh Ravichander won the Best Music for the same movie as well. Atlee, the director of the movie “Jawan”, got the Best Director Critics award and if we talk about the Best Movie Critics, then it was “12th Fail” which starred Vikrant Massey and Medha Shankar in lead roles and was directed by Vidhu Vinod Chopra.
While Sandeep Reddy Vanga got the Best Director award for his movie “Animal”, Bobby Deol and Anil Kapoor won the Best Actor In Negative Role and Best Actor In Supporting Role, respectively for the same film.
The controversial movie “The Kerala Story” also got mentioned in the Awards function as its lead actress Adah Sharma won the Most Promising Actress award. Shahid Kapoor’s web series “Farzi” with which he made his digital debut got the award for the Best Series and Shahid Kapoor also won the award for the Best Actor In Web Series. The talented actor Vicky Kaushal won the Best Actor (Critics) for his performance in “Sam Bahadur” which was based on the life-story of India’s first Field Marshal, Sam Manekshaw.

Most Promising Actor: Vikrant Massey, 12th Fail
Best Actress in a Television Series: Rupali Ganguly, Anupamaa
Best Actor in a Television Series: Neil Bhatt, Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin
Television Series of the Year: Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin
Best Actress in a Web Series: Karishma Tanna, Scoop
Outstanding Contribution to the Film Industry: Moushumi Chatterjee
Outstanding Contribution to the Music Industry: K.J. Yesudas
