Just like Sachin Tendulkar, even his biopic is receiving the love it deserves. On the opening weekend, “Sachin: A Billion Dreams” earned a whopping 27.85 crores. This figure is not at all bad for a docu-drams; on Saturday and Sunday, the collections were more than that of the opening day.
With this movie, fans relived those old memories and enjoyed some lovely stadium moments. The “Sachin Sachin” chants gave the same goosebumps.
This James Erskine directorial has given us a sneak-peek into the life of our most favorite cricketer. After a good opening weekend, all eyes were on Monday collections.

The biopic holds well even on Monday; it earned 4.20 crores on the 4th day and with this, the total has now become 32.25 crores. The film overthrew Half Girlfriend, which had got a good start but declined in the 2nd week. While Half Girlfriend has got just 38 crores in 2 weeks, Sachin’s film has earned 32 crores in just 4 days.
Day 1- 8.40 crores
Day 2- 9.20 crores
Day 3- 10.25 crores
Day 4- 4.20 crores
Total- 32.25 crores.
Hope it enters the 50 crores club soon; Sachin has shown his power even on the weekday; this shows that there are chances of good collections even on upcoming days.
