In Bollywood, once actresses get married, their status changes. It may be unfortunate, and a result of patriarchy prevalent in the industry, but it’s one hundred percent true.
Actresses are viewed in a different light. They’re no longer asked questions about their careers or their film choices. Instead, they’re asked about families and having kids. Recently, one of the top actresses in the country, Deeepika Padukone got married to long time beau Ranveer Singh.
After almost a month, both husband and wife are back to work and reportedly haven’t even gone on a honeymoon, because they did not have free time on their hands.
Ranveer Singh, who is now busy with promotions for Simmba, is quite vocal about how life is magical after getting married. We presume, Deepika shares a similar opinion.
Recently, a leading magazine asked her if she would be open to kissing scenes on screen now that she is married. Check out the video:
To the question, Deeepika seemed to blush a little and said, “Chee.” She gave a solid reply, don’t you think?
Deepika is next going to be seen in a film by director Meghna Gulzar and it is going to be a biopic on the acid attack victim, Lakshmi Agarwal.
