Dhoni Surprises Fans With His Monk Avatar, To Reveal The Reason Behind This Change Soon

The former Indian cricketer MS Dhoni is not one of those sports personalities who like to remain in limelight as the last time we saw him was in the IPL 2020 and since then, he has stayed away from public space. The legendary former skipper is the only captain who has won all the ICC trophies – ICC T20 World Cup 2007, ICC World Cup 2011 and ICC Champions Trophy 2013 along with the Asia Cups 2010 and 2016. MS Dhoni took retirement last year from the international cricket but he played in the IPL 2020 and the IPL 2021 may be his last IPL season.

There is no denying the fact that the IPL 2020 which was held in UAE due to the coronavirus pandemic was the worst season for Mahi led Chennai Super Kings (CSK) as they not only ended the tournament with the seventh position in the points table but this was the first time that they were not even able to reach the play-offs.

MS Dhoni was also trolled and slammed for his poor batting, bad decisions and controversial statements that he made in the tournament. However, his fans are quite hopeful that he and his team will make a strong comeback in the IPL 2021 which is going to take place in India and CSK’s first match in the league will be against Delhi Capitals in Mumbai.

Recently, MS Dhoni surprised everyone with his monk avatar when Star Sports released a video in which Dhoni is seen wearing the dress of a monk with no hair on his head. In the video, Dhoni said, “Kya hai iss avatar ke piche ka mantra, jaldi hi pata chalega”.

Star Sports captioned the video, “Mantra… avatar… we are as 🤯 as you are right now! Give us your best guess as to what this mantra is that he’s talking about and keep watching this space for the reveal”.

The video has left fans guessing about the commercial and the reason behind Dhoni’s new look as this brought back the memories of his debut. When MS Dhoni debuted, he had long hair which made him stand apart from every other cricketer and many youngsters followed his hairstyle at that time.

What do you think could be the reason behind this new look of Mahi?
