Bhavesh Thummer, a diamond polisher who is 30 years old has been hurt badly and received injuries on his chest, left eye and ear after his phone exploded. His condition is said to be stable and out of danger however the injuries are severe.
On Monday, Bhavesh was on a visit to his friend Kanti Patel and he was at Kanti’s Timber Mart in Punagam where the incident took place. Bhavesh’s phone exploded and as it was in shirt pocket he received major injuries on his chest, left eye and ear. Bhavesh’s friends admitted him to private hospital nearby and then later on shifted him to SMIMER hospital which is ran by Surat Municipal Corporation at Sahara Darwaja in Surat.
Punagam Police has recorded the statements in the hospital and started the investigation. As per Police, Bhavesh is out of danger despite receiving major injuries.
