The first tweet that left his followers scratching their heads was, “I love coin tosses… especially when they end up in my belly!”

The second weird tweet read, “Bzz…! Did you know? Buzzing beehives make for great boxing bags!”

The third insensible tweet that was made by Rohit Sharma’s Twitter handle was, “Cricket balls are edible… right?”

All his fans and followers felt that his Twitter has been hacked and the hacker is making a fool of everyone by posting such tweets. Soon it started a meme fest on Twitter and here are some selected reactions:

However, there were very few who understood that this was nothing but a part of promotion of some product:

In reality, it was a promotional tweet for an insurance company which has come up with a comprehensive dog insurance cover and it all got cleared when Rohit Sharma made this tweet:

Rohit Sharma must be pretty happy as the Indian cricket team has clean swept the last three T20I series against New Zealand (3-0), West Indies (3-0) and Sri Lanka (3-0) and now for the first time, he will be leading team India in the purest form of the game as India is scheduled to play 2-match test series starting from March 4 at Mohali.

Though Hitman was announced as the skipper of the Indian test team before the South Africa tour, he missed the complete series because of his injury and KL Rahul led the Indian side in his absence.

All the best team India!
