Facebook Again Activated Safety Feature After Bombing In Nigeria & Paris Attacks - RVCJ Media

Facebook has activated the Safety Check feature on its network after the bombings in Nigeria and the announcement regarding this was made by the Facebook CEO, Mark Zuckerburg himself.

Facebook is one of the most popular social media networks of today’s times and people use it to connect with each other; however its importance increases when there is a natural calamity or terrorist attack in any part of the world. People then turn towards Facebook to check whether their loved ones are safe or not and with this safety check feature it will be easy to check on all the relatives and friends.

Earlier when this safety feature was launched by Facebook it was proposed to be used during any natural calamity in any part of the world but after Paris attacks and today’s Nigerian bombings, it seems Facebook wants to use for other purposes as well, which may take lives of human beings.

The inspiration to make Safety feature was received from Japan as an earthquake and Tsunami hit Japan few years back, so it was made first for Japan and now it can be used by everyone in the world.
