Inhumanity and cruelty seem to have crossed all limits in view of the fact that we regularly come across heinous incidents which tremble our soul to the core. Here we are talking about a poor factory worker, Ram Singh who was brutally beaten to death in Amritsar. A video circulated on Internet as well as news channels shows a man hung upside down and viciously thrashed by an iron rod which resulted in painful demise of the worker.
After identification, it was acknowledged that the victim was Ram Singh who worked in the factory and alleged to be kidnapped by 3 men on Wednesday from his home. They took him to a secluded spot and thrashed so mercilessly that he gave up.
Jaspreet Singh, the accused, is booked under IPC section 302; however, no arrest has been made. Talking about Ram Singh, he was a Nepali and was living here for about 14 yrs with his wife.
