Bollywood and the Indian movie lovers have now received another big blow as the veteran actor Rishi Kapoor has also departed from the world. He was suffering from cancer and spent majority part of 2019 in New York for treatment. He was admitted in a Mumbai hospital yesterday after he experienced breathing problem but today morning, he breathed his last.
While people were still finding it difficult to come on terms that Irrfan Khan is not with us, the news of Rishi Kapoor has left them in a state of shock and disbelief. The actor who entertained us for around 50 years has now bid his final goodbye to this world. Rishi Kapoor’s family issued a statement, informing everyone of the unfortunate incident. They also stated that the “Bobby” actor was jovial and entertaining the doctors till the end. The Kapoor family also requested fans not to break the rules of lockdown as many fans will like to see their favourite star last time and it will be problematic for the administration and police to manage them.

Rishi Kapoor was from a Bollywood family as his father Raj Kapoor was one of the biggest actors of all times and his grandfather Prithviraj Kapoor was a very star actor as well. Rishi’s uncles Shashi Kapoor and Shammi Kapoor were also very successful actors. Rishi Kapoor was married to actress Neetu Kapoor with whom he has worked in around 15 movies. Rishi Kapoor’s son Ranbir Kapoor is also an actor while his daughter Riddhima Kapoor has chosen to remain away from Bollywood.
We will miss you Rishi Kapoor! RIP!
