God's Blessing : It's Raining Money In Vrindavan's Banke Bihari Temple - RVCJ Media

It is said “Dene wala jab bhi deta, deta Chappad phaad ke” and this has actually come true in Vrindavan’s Banke Bihari temple. In this rainy season, it was not raining water but Rs.500 notes near the temple. The story goes something like this, a family from Mumbai had come down for a trip with the family, when a monkey snatched the bag of the lady and took out notes from the bag and started fling them in air.

The women carried 100-note bundles of 500-rupee notes in the bag, which amounted to Rs.1.5 lakhs and the monkey managed to open the bundle of notes and flinged the notes in air. The helpless woman did not find any help as well, since the time they arrived most of the shops were closed and thus they found nothing to distract the monkey, and get the bag back. In fact, when the women tried to run after the monkey and grasp the bag, someone stole her mobile phone worth Rs.30,000/- adding to the agony.

As told to TOI by Uma Krishna “The widows who beg outside the temple and a bunch of kids and several shopkeepers collected the falling notes. There were also some young men who scooped up what they could to return the notes to the family. As one of the daughters of the woman stooped to collect the notes, someone made off with the mobile phone that was sticking outside the rear pocket of her pants.”

This trip have actually left the family with heavy hearts, and they returned back disappointed. There is no way that people can manage the mischief done by the Monkeys, though the administration is trying to tackle the menace created by these creatures.
