Bollywood actor Govinda and movie director David Dhawan have given us many beautiful and entertaining movies and it won’t be wrong to say that we will like to see Govinda more in the movies directed by David Dhawan. However, they both had a big fall-out some years back and since then, they not only stopped working together but they also stopped talking to each other.
Recently, the “Hero No.1” actor posted a photo of himself with David Dhawan indicating that they both have patched up. He also made it clear that they met second time at Ramesh Taurani’s Diwali party after sorting out their differences.
Govinda posted the photo with the caption, “80s aur 90s mein meri do biwiyaan thi. Ek Sunita aur ek David!”
While speaking to a news daily, Govinda said that he is happy to know that people want to see them work together again as it is their love. He said that they both had already patched up and this was their second meeting. Govinda stated that it was a Diwali party and they both had a good time while eating tasty food and they both don’t like talking about the past. The actor said that talking about movies was not a priority but when they talked, it was about the sweet memories which they have in abundance.
When Govinda was asked about his absence from parties, the actor said that he attended a party after 19-20 years because it was an industry party and not a group party. He added that over the years, the Bollywood parties have turned into group parties and a person is not invited in that party if he doesn’t belong to that group. He further says that if a person is not seen in parties, it is assumed that he is anti-social but that is not the case with him, he is not anti-social, it is just that he doesn’t believe in groups.
Govinda also states that in the older times, people used to say that Govinda, David Dhawan, Shakti Kapoor and Karisma Kapoor are members of a group but that was not the case as they were just artists who used to work together.
Well, it’s certainly a good news that Govinda and David Dhawan have patched up.
