This may come as a surprise to many but a Muslim group in Barkas has requested and appealed the crowd in their locality to stop slaughtering cows, bullocks and bulls in order to maintain communal harmony with the Hindus.The group called Arab Gourakshana Samithi (AGS) requested people from his community to stop sacrificing cows and in fact has requested to return back them to the sellers as well.
President of AGS, Abdullah Bin Ali Bahameid told a , “We are working towards building a spirit of brotherhood among Hindus and Muslims. No nation can survive if there is a trust deficit between communities. The Hindus revere the cow and there is no harm if Muslims respect their sentiments.”
However, this good move from the Muslim community has drawn flakes and is facing criticism for being allegedly supported by political parties like BJP and RSS.
Now. what will you call this, don’t you think the thin line between the communal dis-balance between Hindu & Muslim is getting thinner because of the political agenda’s leader carry with them. Even if the people are trying to bridge the gap, the political leaders will not let this case rest in peace.
