After ‘Mohenjo Daro’ and ‘Rustom’ clash, another big one is on its’ way. Yes, Hrithik starrer ‘Kaabil’ and SRK starrer ‘Raees’ are going to clash at the Box Office on the 26th of January 2017.
Earlier ‘Raees’ had an Eid release, but SRK postponed it so that clash with ‘Sultan’ is avoided. Then he postponed the Diwali release due to ‘Shivaay’ and then once again the Christmas release due to ‘Dangal’.
Finally, the movie got a Republic Day release but unfortunately, it couldn’t avoid the clash! Now, it is releasing with another biggie ‘Kaabil’ as we already discussed.
SRK tried hard to avoid this clash, but it is his bad luck; he couldn’t do so. There were also reports about SRK going to Rakesh Roshan’s house to discuss this, but it seems nothing worked out. Now, this clash is going to be very risky for both the stars. Confused? Let us explain you in a simple way!
Why it is risky for Hrithik!
Recently, we are seeing how ‘Mohenjo Daro’ is performing very badly at the box office due to it’s clash with another biggie ‘Rustom’. The Akshay Kumar movie minted 101.80 crores in 9 days, thereby entering the 100 crore club, but poor Hrithik, he is left behind with just 53 crores, which is nearly 50 percent of that. So in case of this clash;

Why it is risky for SRK?
Now, when there was a clash between ‘Bajirao Mastani’ and ‘Dilwale’, the Ranveer Singh starrer defeated the SRK starrer by big numbers. Yes, while ‘Bajirao Mastani’ earned around 175 crores, ‘Dilwale’ collections were stuck up at 138 crores! So in case of this clash;
Ranveer Singh- SUCCESSFUL!

Final verdict
So in both the cases we saw that both Hrithik and SRK suffered due to clash. Now, if they both clash at the Box Office, there is no surety as to who would lead. While SRK has his own charm and enjoys a huge fanbase, we cannot underestimate the power of Hrithik too. Ultimately, it could lead to poor collections for both. Nothing can be said as of now. The only thing that can be sensed is that this clash is going to prove risky for both. Even Rakesh Roshan had given the correct advice, as per SRK’s tweet;
