Another big clash is on its way on 27th of January 2017! Yes, we are talking about ‘Raees’ and ‘Kaabil’, which are all set to hit the screens on the Republic Day weekend.
For both SRK as well as Hrithik, it is a reason to worry as the duo has suffered from bad collections, whenever there is a clash.
However, this time SRK seems to be on a safe side as he has the support of his best buddy Karan Johar. We all are aware how Shah Rukh Khan and Karan Johar support each other in professional as well as personal matters.
Well, recently, Karan suggested the best deal for the distribution of ‘Raees’.
Yes, reports quote sources as saying
“Karan’s production company had not just presented Baahubali, but even bought the Hindi rights for the film. When SRK, Riteish and Farhan locked Anil Thadani as the distributor for Raees, Karan told Shah Rukh how to get the best deal from single-screen owners. Anil owns the distribution rights of Baahubali 2 and Mirzya so he made the single-theatre owners sign a three-film deal that he would give them these films only if they gave him maximum screens for Raees too. Now, for exhibitors, Baahubali 2 is one of the hottest releases of 2017 so they had no choice but to agree.”
Now, Rakesh Roshan is definitely going to suffer due to this, isn’t it? If ‘Kaabil’ doesn’t get any single screen theaters here in Mumbai, the collections are going to be hampered to a great extent.
Talking about the clash between ‘Rustom’ and ‘Mohenjo Daro’, Hrithik was on a safe side since UTV secured majority of single-screen theaters that time.
