Rajkumar Hirani’s “Sanju” which is based on the life story of Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt and stars Ranbir Kapoor in the titular role has been going great on the box-office from the very first day. The flick became the biggest opener of the year after earning whopping Rs 34.75 crore on the first day. Even more amazingly, it entered the 100 crore club on the first weekend and crossed 200 crore mark in just a week. Unsurprisingly, it is the biggest movie of Ranbir’s career and has broken many records on the box-office.
There are a number of highlighting points in the movie and one of them is the beautiful bond of friendship between Sanju and Kamli. The character of Kamli is played by Vicky Kaushal in the film and viewers as well as critics can’t stop praising the ultimate chemistry between the besties.
Ranbir and Vicky have just nailed it with their power-packed performances and their acts connected with audience so well that all the people were left teary-eyed in Sanju’s last scene. After serving the jail term, the protagonist walks out and found his friend waiting to receive him. This meeting was heart-touching and Kamli wore the same red fur coat that Sanju purchased for him when they partied in the US years ago.
In real life, Kamli is Sanjay Dutt’s best friend Paresh Ghelani and when Sanjay came out of the jail, the duo hugged each other as if they had been waiting for this moment for years and didn’t meet for a long time. There was a different kind of happiness and contentment on the faces of both and Hirani has tried to capture this beautiful moment in a very emotional way.
