Another shocking news is coming from Pakistan city Shikarpur. At least 20 people were killed and 50 were injured on Friday in a powerful bomb blast at an Imambargah in Lakhidar area of Shikarpur District, 511 kilometres from the Sindh capital of Karachi. Blast happened at a Shia mosque in Southern Pakistan
Rescue & Police operation rushed to the site as soon as blast happened. All injured were taken to the nearby hospital. An emergency has been declared across hospitals in Shikhapur. Death toll is expected to rise as many of the injured persons are in critical condition.
Local media reports suggest that bomb blast could have been a suicidal attack, but police is investigating and refused to comment on it.
No one has taken a responsibility of this attack yet but Sunni Muslim extremists have often targeted religious institutions of Shiites, whom they do not consider to be true Muslims.
