A cow may be just an animal for others but it is given the status of mother by Hindus and eating beef is considered a sin, especially if done by a Hindu. But there are some people who don’t differentiate between a cow and other animals and for them, eating beef is the same as eating chicken.
Last year, we saw an increase in the number of incidents in which the cow protectors attacked other individuals who were suspected of taking cows for killing or having eaten cow meat. Even PM Modi once warned fake gau-rakshaks and said that it was not the way to protect cows.
A Facebook user, Arunima Bhattacharya, has posted a WhatsApp conversation on Facebook, in which a guy is constantly trying to make her believe that eating cow meat is a sin for Hindus.
