The Indian actor Vijay Sethupathi is getting praised a lot for his acting in the recent release “Jawan” which was directed by Atlee and starred Shah Rukh Khan, Nayanthara, Sanya Malhotra, etc. in important roles. Vijay played the role of villain in the movie and what makes him stand apart from many actors of the industry is the fact that he has the versatility which enables him to play any character with ease.
Though Vijay is open to work with any actor of the industry yet there is an instance when he refused to work with southern actress Krithi Shetty. In a recent interview, Vijay Sethupathi revealed that when he was shooting for the movie “Labham”, the makers were planning to sign Krithi Shetty for female lead but he told the makers to not sign Krithi because at the same time, he was shooting for “Uppena” in which Krithi was playing the role of his daughter.
Vijay Sethupathi stated that there was no chance that he could have romanced the actress who was playing the character of his daughter in another movie which was getting shot simultaneously as it would have been a very awkward experience.
“Jawan” has broken many records at the box-office and now Vijay Sethupathi will be seen in “Merry Christmas” which also stars beautiful Katrina Kaif. The movie is directed by Sriram Raghavan and it will release in December 2023.
