There is a buzz in Bollywood that superstar Salman Khan and his brother Arbaaz Khan had a meeting with the “Jawan” director Atlee and they are planning a spin-off of “Dabangg”. It is being said that the meeting took place at Salman Khan’s residence Galaxy Apartment and if the reports are to be believed, Atlee will creatively involve in the movie but he won’t be directing it.
As per the source, Salman Khan and Arbaaz Khan had a discussion with Atlee about “Dabangg” spin-off for the purpose of bringing back the iconic police officer Chulbul Pandey in the lives of people and it may be a co-production of Salman Khan and Arbaaz Khan with Atlee.
The source further adds that the offer has been made by Salman and Arbaaz to Atlee but he hasn’t given an answer in regard to the offer.
The reports further suggest that Salman Khan and Arbaaz Khan had discussions with Atlee in regard to making “Dabangg” a pan-India franchise but Atlee will answer only after having discussions with his director friends in the southern cinema.
There is no official confirmation regarding this meeting but if this collaboration happens, it will be a big treat for fans of Salman Khan. “Dabangg” is one of the biggest franchises of Bollywood, while its first movie got released in 2010, second and third movies got released in 2012 and 2019, respectively and all the three movies were blockbusters at the box-office.
