Hrithik Roshan’s “Kaabil” Received Legal Notice? Here’s The Truth Behind It

Hrithik Roshan’s “Kaabil” is once again in controversy! Earlier it made headlines because of the release dates clash with Shah Rukh’s “Raees” and now it is being said that the movie is copied from a famous Hollywood TV show “Daredevil” and as per a report published in Mumbai Mirror, the American Multinational Entertainment company, Netflix is planning to take the producers of “Kaabil” to court.

Hrithik Roshan’s “Kaabil” Received Legal Notice? Here's The Truth Behind It - RVCJ Media

A source has been quoted in the report,

“Protagonists of both the productions are blind while even the action sequences look the same. The color schemes are also similar. This has upset Netflix and they will be taking legal action against Rakesh Roshan’s FilmKraft Productions and Sanjay Gupta’s White Feature Films.”

On the other hand, a source from Team Kaabil has completely denied this news and declared it as baseless because the story of “Kaabil” is totally different from Daredevil. What’s more, “Kaabil” is not a superhero movie and no legal notice has been received by Team Kaabil from Netflix till now.

In the words of Sanjay Gupta,

“It’s a preposterous comparison because Hrithik is not a superhero in “Kaabil”. His character is that of a blind man who does what he does the best. In Daredevil, the protagonist fights 30 people at a time. None of that is happening in “Kaabil”. If they sue us, we will definitely fight back.”

By the way, SRK signed a deal with Netflix for next 3 years and needless to say, there has been a fight between Hrithik and Shah Rukh because of the clash of their films.

Does this give the indication of any connection with regard to ‘fake’ news going viral against “Kaabil”?
