Indian Team Failed In Sportsmanship- Tweeted Waqar Younis, Got Slammed On Twitter - RVCJ Media

India played against England at Birmingham on Sunday and lost by the match 31 runs. The stadium was full of Indian team supporters and it was the first time in history when Pakistanis were also present to cheer for India. The reason was that if India would have won Pakistan had a chance to reach semi-finals so the whole nation was praying for India’s win. Some of them even sang our national anthem.

However, luck was not in their favor and India lost the match. It left Pakistanis sadder than even Indians. After 8 games, Pakistan has earned 9 points and stands on 5th position. If England would have lost, it’d have left with 8 points, and Pakistan’s chances of reaching the semi-finals would have been higher. England’s victory smashed Pakistan’s beautiful dream of playing in semifinals.

After that, the former captain of Pakistan Waqar Younis took to Twitter and slammed the Indian team for their lack of sportsmanship. He tweeted, “It’s not who you are. What you do in life defines who you are. Me not bothered if Pakistan gets to the semis or not but one thing is for sure. Sportsmanship of few Champions got tested and they failed badly #INDvsEND #CWC2019.”

After Waqar’s tweet cricket united on Twitter and started slamming him. Here are some selected tweet by fans:
