Irrfan Khan’s movie “Madaari” is all set to release and it appears as if the actor has discovered a new and interesting technique of promoting his upcoming flick.
There is no denying the fact that scheduling interviews and having a meeting with political leaders is not a child’s play and people have to undergo a lengthy and dreary process prior to receiving a Yes from them.
But Irrfan Khan has just proved “where there is a will, there is a way!” Confused? Well, the “Piku” actor has shown that it’s quite easy for common people to reach out to our leaders on social media by tweeting to three very active politicians, i.e., the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal and Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi.
Firstly, Irrfan tweeted to Kejriwal as a common man of the country asking him for a meeting as he had to ask some questions:
Desh ka ek aam nagrik hoon. Aap se kuch sawaal pochnay the. Can I meet you @ArvindKejriwal?
— Irrfan (@irrfank) July 16, 2016
And Kejriwal agreed!
.@irrfan_k Sure
— Arvind Kejriwal (@ArvindKejriwal) July 16, 2016
Irrfan asked the time:
Dhanyawad @ArvindKejriwal , Monday and Tuesday we are in delhi, aap samay bataye hum pahunch jayenge.
— Irrfan (@irrfank) July 16, 2016
All fixed!
.@irrfan_k Tuesday 11 am, my office.
— Arvind Kejriwal (@ArvindKejriwal) July 16, 2016
And the series of tweets ended with a ‘thank you’ from the actor.
Thanks again, will see you on Tuesday @ArvindKejriwal

He sent the same message to Rahul Gandhi:
Desh ka ek aam nagrik hoon. Aap se kuch sawaal pochnay the. Can I meet you @OfficeofRG?
— Irrfan (@irrfank) July 16, 2016
And RaGa happily agreed:
Happy to meet.
Pl DM your number— Rahul Gandhi (@RahulGandhi) July 16, 2016
All fixed and done!
Thank you @OfficeOfRG , I have responded.
— Irrfan (@irrfank) July 16, 2016
But when Irrfan sent the similar message to PM Modi,
Desh ka ek aam nagrik hoon. Aap se kuch sawaal pochnay the. Can I meet you @PMOIndia ?
— Irrfan (@irrfank) July 16, 2016
He received a different reply:
Currently the PM is occupied with the upcoming Parliament Session. Please send a letter with details.
— PMO India (@PMOIndia) July 17, 2016
And the meeting couldn’t be fixed yet!
Dhanyawad. Please DM me the email id and I shall send across the letter. @PMOIndia
