The nation couldn’t get over the extravagant wedding of Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor and her long-time boyfriend Anand Ahuja and just then another B-Town celeb Neha Dhupia surprised her fans with the biggest news of her life.
The “Julie” actress tied knot with Angad Bedi on 10th May, 2018, and it was a secret Anand Karaj ceremony that took place in Delhi. Even her friends were quite shocked to get the news of surprise wedding from Neha as no one had the idea of this big event.
Since this wedding was not planned and took place without any prior information, people started speculating whether Neha Dhupia is pregnant and this is the reason as to why the couple got hitched hastily without making any announcement in advance.
Dainik Bhaskar got in touch with Pradip Dhupia, father of Neha, to know the truth behind these rumours and he straightly denied it. As per him, just because Neha and Angad got married early, people are making such speculations.
In his words,
“No, there is no such thing at all. Since the two got married early, people are thinking otherwise, but there is no such thing. People will keep talking about things and spread rumors as per their wish.”
According to Pradip, Neha and Angad decided to get married hurriedly due to time shortage as they both are occupied with their work schedules. After the date of marriage was finalised, only a few days were left for making arrangements.
In the meantime, the couple released a joint statement about their marriage. Here’s what the statement read,
“Marrying your best friend is one of the greatest feelings in the world, and we are extremely fortunate to have found love in each other. It has been a beautiful journey knowing each other and after formalizing the wedding earlier this year, today, we exchanged our vows in a beautifully simple, private and intimate Anand Karaj ceremony in Delhi. We look forward to celebrating and sharing this special moment with our friends and colleagues in Mumbai in the next couple of weeks. Thank you for showering us with so much love. Your blessings have truly made this day so much more special.”
Now we hope that all the pregnancy rumours are laid to rest and questioning or doubtful comments won’t trouble the couple and their families anymore!
