“It’s An Astonishing Decision,” Virat’s Childhood Coach Reacts As Kohli Quits Test Captaincy

A great era came to an end with Virat Kohli giving up the test captaincy after the Indian team lost the third and the final test match of the series against South Africa and with this, India also lost the series by 2-1. Virat is certainly the best Indian test captain as under his leadership, India won 40 test matches out of 68 played by them and it was quite shocking for the fans and the cricketing experts when he announced quitting the test captaincy.

Rajkumar Sharma, the childhood coach of Virat Kohli, was also left surprised with this decision of the latter and he referred to it as an astonishing call. Sharma says that the decision taken by Kohli is astonishing but he will not make any comment as it is Virat’s personal decision and he will also refrain from saying anything in this regard until and unless he gets to know the complete picture. However, Sharma emphasizes that Virat Kohli has not taken this decision in haste.
