Recently, the actress approached Delhi Police Chief Sanjay Arora and alleged that Sukesh is threatening and harassing her from inside the jail and she has to deal with a lot of mental pressure and targeted campaigns which are focused on scaring her and spoiling her image.

She wrote an official email with the subject line reading, “Systemic failure in prosecution witness protection.” Jacqueline Fernandez has become witness in the Rs. 200 crore money laundering and extortion case and she feels that prosecution witness protection program has been compromised as she is being threatened by Sukesh and this is also an attack on the judicial system of the country.

She wrote in the email, “I am responsible citizen, who has found herself inadvertently embroiled in a case that has far-reaching implications for the rule of law and the sanctity of our “judicial system”. As a prosecution witness in a case registered by the special cell, I write to you amidst a harrowing ordeal of psychological pressure and targeted intimidation campaigns.”

She also wrote, “A man identifying himself as Sukesh is an accused, sitting behind bars in Mandoli Jail, and threatening her with intimidating tactics in the open public domain.”

Jacqueline Fernandez demanded that the case should be booked against Sukesh under relevant IPC sections. She also wrote that Sukesh has threatened her of dire consequences if she reveals the truth to the court. Jacqueline wrote, “These actions do not merely impinge upon my individual rights; they strike at the heart of our justice system. The principle of witness protection, which is fundamental to the administration of justice, has been compromised, undermining the credibility and efficacy of our legal institutions.”

Delhi Police has already acted on her email which was sent some time back as one specialized unit has been ordered to carry out a preliminary investigation in this matter.
