Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Siddhant Chaturvedi and Kalki Koechlin starrer “Gully Boy” is indeed among the most successful movies of 2019 as it was not only loved by audiences but also received good reviews from critics. Be it dialogues or acting, songs or narration, Zoya Akhtar’s flick won hearts of movie buffs and recently, it has also made an international fan!

We are talking about Jonty Rhodes, the former cricketer of South Africa, who lately watched “Gully Boy” and became its ardent admirer.

Jonty Rhodes took to the micro-blogging site Twitter and appreciated the flick in a tweet which read, “Been listening to the #GullyBoy soundtrack ever since meeting @SiddhantChturvD last year at an event, finally got to watch the entire movie on my @emirates to India last night. Thanks to subtitles, I laughed; cried and had goosebumps @RanveerOfficial @aliaa08 @kalkikanmani”

In another tweet, he wrote, “Spent a couple of days a few years back at #covelongpoint surf music yoga festival in the unassuming presence of @kalkikanmani and would never have imagined she was such an onscreen talent #realpeople v #reelpeople”

It performed superbly at the box-office and the actors received appreciation for their brilliant performance from fans and critics alike.

Earlier Hollywood actor Will Smith also took to social media and praised Ranveer Singh for his work in the movie and now this applauding tweet from Jonty Rhodes certainly adds one more feather in its cap! What do you say?
