There seems to be a new trend of successful B-Town actors hosting TV reality shows. People have loved Salman Khan as the host of Bigg Boss for many years and now Akshay Kumar will be seen in the comedy show The Great Indian Laughter Challenge as a host. Well, talking about them, how can we forget megastar Amitabh Bachchan who is the life and soul of Kaun Banega Crorepati!
SRK back on TV with Ted Talks India:
Now the latest actor to join this bandwagon is none other than King Khan whom we will shortly get to watch hosting Ted Talks India, a much-awaited show! SRK excitingly disclosed during the launch event that it’s for the first time that Ted Talks will be telecasted on TV.
Competition with big stars:
While interacting with media, SRK was asked to comment on the competition with other actors who are hosting TV shows and Shah Rukh’s answer was pretty good when he said that he has absolutely no competition with anyone. Well, it simply implies that he wants to focus on his work without paying attention to other unimportant things.
When a reporter addressed Shah Rukh as Salman repeatedly:
A reporter made a big mistake and addressed Shah Rukh as Salman. Interestingly, it was not just once or twice but she kept on calling him Salman repeatedly and finally, she realized her mistake but it was probably too late as her mistake got noticed by all the people present there. It was then that SRK asked the reporter her name and when she said that her name is Lipika, King Khan deliberately mispronounced it as Deepika few times which made everyone laugh.

Mediapersons also asked SRK about hosting a reality show similar to Bigg Boss to which the actor said,
“I have hosted several shows. But honestly I have not been approached for such kind of show, yet. If I will have time, I will. If it gives good money. Having said that, I am not charging for TED as much as the other actors are for their respective shows.”
