Kailash Kher said that once he got a call from the makers of 2003 released “Chalte Chalte” for singing a song in the movie. When Kher received the call, he got happy as it was from a big director of the industry. Kailash Kher added that he sang a song for “Chalte Chalte” and it was not an easy song to sing.

He further said that he even confided to his sister that he had sung a song for the superstar Shah Rukh Khan but when he got the music CD of the film, he was shocked because there was another singer’s name instead of his name. Kailash Kher stated that it was the first setback that he got and he thought that even big people can do such small things.

The song about which Kailash Kher is talking is “Layi Vi Na Gayi”; the makers got it sung by Sukhwinder Singh also and they preferred to keep Sukhwinder’s version in the movie.

Recently Kailash Kher sang “Ho Tayyar” for the movie “OMG 2” which stars Akshay Kumar, Pankaj Tripathi and Yami Gautam in lead roles and the song is getting a lot of love from the music lovers.

There is no denying the fact that Kailash Kher is a great singer and fans will certainly love it if he sings more Bollywood songs.
