Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt starrer “Gully Boy” has finally hit the theatres today, i.e., Feb 14 and director Zoya Akhtar must be quite happy as her movie is getting great reviews.

Recently, an entertainment portal interviewed Zoya and during the interaction, she talked about a number of issues including Kangana Ranaut’s outburst on the film fraternity for not supporting her, especially when her flicks get released.

In an interview with the same entertainment portal, Kangana slammed some Bollywood actors for not showing up on the screenings of her movie “Manikarnika” despite the fact that she appeared on the premieres of their movies.

The “Queen” star specially slammed Alia Bhatt and Aamir Khan as neither of them came to watch her movie or supported her all though the controversies while she went to watch “Dangal”, “Secret Superstar” and “Raazi”. As per Kangana, she sent trailer of “Manikarnika” to B-town celebs but they didn’t came while she used to cancel her shoots if needed for attending their events.

When Zoya was asked about the accusations levelled by Kangana, she said that she is not able to understand as to what type of support she wants because she is always appreciated by Bollywood for her good work.

“Manikarnika” was embroiled in a controversy as the director Krish accused Kangana of taking his credit of directing the flick. However, the movie has done pretty well on the box-office and has garnered around Rs. 90 crore till now.
