Kangana Ranaut, the “Queen” of Bollywood, is certainly a bold actress in her attitude and never minces words when it comes to speak her mind.
There have not been many days when she opened up on many issues which exist in the film industry, according to the actress, and one of them was pay disparity. In fact, the latest AIB video starring Kangana drew attention to numerous important things which Kangana goes through in B-Town. In particular, it took a dig at the big problem of pay disparity among Bollywood male and female stars.
Kangana to make directorial debut:
Her latest release “Simran” couldn’t do wonders on the box-office and now Kangana is all set for “Teju”. This movie is very special for the actress, as she is entering the field of direction from this flick. Kangana is happy about the venture and stated that she would not only charge for direction and acting but also share profits as a producer.
Here’s what Kangana revealed while interacting with Filmfare magazine,
“I will be sharing the profits. (Smiles) I’ll be charging as an actor, as a director and will be sharing profits as the producer.”
Very excited for “Teju”:
Here’s what she told The Indian Express about “Teju”,
“It is a children’s film, and I have a lot of ideas and excitement for it. But it will be a difficult project to pull off, and I am looking forward to it. It will be a light-hearted film, I can’t call it comedy, but most definitely a nice film. This is what I wanted to do.”
Talking about her character in “Teju”, she will portray the role of a grandmother (80) and for this, she will naturally have to undergo a makeover. The movie will be shot at Himachal Pradesh and is scheduled to hit theatres in the year 2018.
