Recently during the Actresses roundtable when Rani Mukerji gave her opinion regarding the #MeToo movement, it sparked a huge controversy. She said that women need to be powerful within and must have the courage to say back off when they feel like saying so. Rani also said that women need to take their own responsibility and should fight against the odds on their own.

This statement of Rani didn’t go well with the netizens and they trolled her badly.

Kangana who has always been in the support of #MeToo movement was asked about her opinion on Rani’s comment. Replying to her comment she said that women should be empowered and we must not discourage strong women. She made her point clear by saying if women in the society need support, they must be helped but if society is producing strong women like Rani Laxmibai than there’s nothing wrong in it.

Giving her own example she said that she was 16 when she filed an FIR against the se*ual harassment she faced.
