The comedy king Kapil Sharma is all set to make a comeback with his new show entitled Family Time with Kapil Sharma on Sony TV. The promos of the show have been quite exciting and fans are eagerly waiting for the show to start.
The Kapil Sharma Show went off air few months ago as TRPs were going down and shooting was often cancelled due to Kapil’s deteriorating health. Needless to say, this all was the outcome of his mid-air brawl with Sunil Grover post which Sunil quit the show and audiences also lost interest. Kapil tried to completely focus on his movie “Firangi” but that too didn’t have a good fate.
Now all eyes are set to Family Time with Kapil Sharma and fans are quite interested in knowing what new the ace comedian is bringing this time. Earlier it was speculated that it will be the second season of The Kapil Sharma Show; however, Kapil made up mind of starting with a fresh format.
But it appears that things are not so smooth and even though the starting date of Family Time with Kapil Sharma has been disclosed, i.e., 25th March, BollywoodLife reports that Sony TV wants to play safe this time. Kapil has reportedly been asked for keeping five episodes ready in advance prior to the show’s beginning.
Here’s what a source revealed,
“They want to ensure that there is no last minute cancellation at the start of the show.”
Last time, Kapil cancelled shoots with several celebrities including Arjun Kapoor, SRK and Ajay Devgn and it seems that the channel doesn’t want to take any risk now. Nevertheless, Sony TV has refused any such claims.
Fans also thought that Kapil and Sunil might reunite for Family Time With Kapil Sharma but they will be sad to know that nothing of this sort is going to happen.
