KKR With Gambhir & KKR Without Gambhir Memes Break The Internet As KKR Crushed DC By 106 Runs

The IPL team Kolkata Knight Riders has started their IPL 2024 campaign with a bang as they have won all the three matches that they have played in the tournament till now and currently they are sitting at the top of the points table.

KKR which is co-owned by Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has won the IPL two times – 2012 and 2014, both the times under the leadership of former Indian cricketer Gautam Gambhir but after that, KKR hasn’t been able to lift the trophy.

For the past few years, the performance of KKR was not as per the expectations of fans and fans were demanding that the management should bring back Gautam Gambhir as only he can change the fortunes of the team.

Their demand has been fulfilled by the management as Gautam Gambhir has joined the franchise as the mentor of the team and KKR certainly looks an altogether different team under this guidance.

After becoming the mentor, Gautam Gambhir made some changes in the team and sending Sunil Narine in the opening was one of them and this decision has done wonders for KKR.

In their third match against Delhi Capitals which was played at Dr. Y.S. Rajashekar Reddy ACA-VDCA International Cricket Stadium, Visakhapatnam, KKR chose to bat first after winning the toss and the KKR batters ripped apart the DC bowlers as they posted a total of 272/7 in their stipulated 20 overs.

Sunil Narine opened the innings with Phil Salt and they both stitched the partnership of 60 runs for the first wicket. Sunil Narine played a blistering knock of 85 runs for which he played 39 deliveries and his innings included 7 fours and 7 sixes. Angrish Raghuvanshi also played a superb knock of 54 runs (27 balls, 5 fours & 3 sixes) and produced a partnership of 104 runs with Sunil Narine. Rinku Singh smashed 26 runs for which he played only 8 deliveries and his innings included 1 four and 3 sixes.

DC tried their best as skipper Rishabh Pant and Tristan Stubbs played half-century knocks but that was not enough to win the match and KKR won the game by 106 runs.
