Jasprit Bumrah, the Indian pacer seems to be in great form and rhythm in this IPL and this is certainly great for the Indian team considering the fact that the T20 World Cup is going to be played in June in West Indies and USA.
In the ongoing IPL 2024, Mumbai Indians has won 3 matches out of 7 and Bumrah has played an important role in all the wins of the team. Moreover, he is the leading wicket-taker of the tournament with 13 wickets.
Jasprit Bumrah enjoys a huge fan following, especially among the youngsters and there are many who try to copy his unique bowling action. But it is not just the cricket fans who love him, there are many former cricketers who are in awe of Jasprit Bumrah and one of them is legendary West Indian pacer Ian Bishop.
Ian Bishop is highly impressed with knowledge and communication skills of Jasprit Bumrah and he wants to anoint PhD to Bumrah in fast bowling. He calls Jasprit Bumrah a terrific communicator and states that he will like to make the Indian pacer give lectures to the aspiring pacers.
In fact, he also used the hashtag of professor in his tweet which read, “If I could anoint Jasprit Bumrah with a fast bowling PHD, I would. He is a terrific communicator, Knowledgable & articulate. I’d then have him hold bowling lectures to young for aspiring seam bowlers across the country at all levels. I wouldn’t wait until he retired. #professor.”

Hopefully Jasprit Bumrah will also make India win the T20 trophy and end the ICC trophy drought as the last time India won an ICC trophy was in 2013 when India won the Champions Trophy.
