‘Rustom’ and ‘Mohenjo Daro’ are all set to be released on the 12th of August. Now, with this big clash, let us see which movie mints more money. Already we have seen how the Hrithik Roshan starrer was leading the race in Round 1. Don’t remember? Let us refresh….
Well in Round 1, ‘Mohenjo Daro’ was ahead of ‘Rustom’ since it garnered 60 crores before the release itself through theatrical and music rights. On the other hand, the collections of the Akshay Kumar starrer weren’t revealed.
Now, both the movies have entered phase 2 of the competition and the results are out. Guess which flick won this time! Any guesses? Well, good news for Hrithik fans as it is ‘Mohenjo Daro’ once again.
Want to know what round 2 was all about? This time it was all about the number of screens. Everyone knows that ‘Mohenjo Daro’ is a big banner film and has got a lot of monetary support from UTV/Disney unlike ‘Rustom’.
There are reports that the Hrithik starrer has bagged 2500 screens as against the Akshay Kumar starrer that has bagged just 2000 screens. Woahhh! ‘Mohenjo Daro’ is once again leading the race by 500 screens, isn’t it amazing? 500 screens extra definitely calls for more collections.
A similar scenario was seen when ‘Bajirao Mastani’ and ‘Dilwale’ had clashed at the Box Office last year. However, in spite of lesser screens, the Deepika starrer went ahead of ‘Dilwale’ due to is supreme storyline.
