Parents to three children, daughter Tara and foster kids Rajveer and Khushi, the duo often appeared as a picture of a happy family. However, recent rumours about their marriage have stirred social media, prompting Mahhi to respond firmly.
Reacting to an Instagram report that claimed the couple had divorced after 14 years of marriage and that custody of their children had already been decided, Mahhi called it a false narrative.
She stated that such misinformation is unacceptable and warned that she would take legal action against those spreading these baseless claims.
Her reply read, “Don’t post false narratives. I’ll take legal action against this.”
The reports suggested that trust issues led to a rift between the two and that they had been separated for some time, with papers allegedly finalised between July and August 2025. Sources claimed that their last public appearance together was at their daughter Tara’s birthday celebration in August and that Mahhi had since moved into a new house with the children.
Mahhi, however, rejected the rumours, urging people not to jump to conclusions or make assumptions about her personal life. She expressed that single mothers and divorced women often face undue judgment and that everyone deserves to live peacefully without societal pressure.
