Mahira Khan and Ranbir Kapoor’s leaked pictures created one of the biggest controversies last month. The photos showed Mahira and Ranbir Kapoor hanging out and smoking together. While it was a surprise for everyone to see them together, they were more surprised to see Mahira smoking.
On social media, Mahira Khan was badly trolled by her Pakistani fans who couldn’t digest the fact that she was smoking. Post the incident, there were many Pakistani celebs who made a comment on the incident and came in Mahira’s favour.
However, it was Mahira who didn’t speak a word about the matter. But last night, at the trailer launch of her upcoming Pakistani film ‘Verna’, she was asked to comment on the same.
She finally decided to speak about it and said that it’s a personal matter and there’s nothing wrong with a boy and girl hanging out. Read her full statement-
“I am a very careful person otherwise. People ask me that I do not do this in films (smoking), I say I do not want to. Why should I do anything to show the world?”
She added-
“It is my personal life and it is very normal for a boy and girl to hang out.”
Adding that the incident has been a learning experience for her, she said-
“Nowadays, media is not only present at events but everywhere. So, I have learnt from it.”

Well, we do agree with Mahira Khan. Celebs are meant to entertain us but they have a personal life too. It’s their choice, what they want to do. She has all the rights to hang out with whomsoever she wants.
