Trains and flights are the two best modes of transport especially for long distances but trains are quite cheaper in comparison to flights. Though the prices of airplane tickets have decreased in the last few years, still they are quite costly in comparison to train tickets but there is one thing common in both the mediums and that is huge cancellation fees.
Whether you cancel your booked train or flight tickets, you will surely lose the major part of the amount.
Recently, a person named Rahul Kumar shared his ordeal of cancelling flight tickets and he also took a jibe at the airlines by asking people to share their opinion as to where he should invest his refund. The total amount that he paid for booking tickets was Rs. 13,820 and the amount which was deducted by the airlines while cancelling the ticket was Rs. 13,800 which left Rahul Kumar with a refund of Rs. 20 only.
