When Isha Ambani got married to Anand Piramal in Udaipur last year, the world got to see what big fat Indian wedding is really all about. The Ambani wedding was a star studded affair with international star and pop diva Beyonce performing at her pre wedding ceremonies.
Now, Akash Ambani son of Mukesh and Nita Ambani tied the knot with Shloka Mehta, daughter of diamond merchant Russell and Mona Mehta on 9th March. The grand celebration will continue till 11th March. Business magnate Mukesh Ambani hosted a grand wedding reception for his son and daughter-in-law at the Jio World Centre on Sunday.
Their glittering wedding ceremony was attended by Bollywood stars, sports personalities, company executives and politicians. We saw Bollywood stars like Ranbir Kapoor, Shah Rukh Khan and Karan Johar dancing and shaking legs in the wedding processions along with Neeta Ambani and the groom himself.
As we all know and belief that nothing is impossible for the Ambanis and that includes bringing three time Grammy winner American rock band Maroon 5 along with the band’s lead Adam Levine to perform at their private ceremony at the Jio World Center in Mumbai’s Bandra Kurla Complex.
Vocalist Adam levine, bassist Mickey Madden, guitarist James Valentine and keyboardists Jesse Carmichael and PJ Morton was in India performing at one of the most extravagant wedding of the year. Like their music video of their hit song Sugar, the band was actually there performing for the lovely couple.
The band also had the lovely couple grooving and lip syncing to their romantic number, She Will We Loved. The video of the couple dancing to this song is really going viral.The band performed some of their hit tracks like ‘What Lovers Do’, ‘Girls Like You’, ‘Sugar’ and “Moves Like Jagger’. Last month The Chainsmokers and Chris Martin also performed at their pre wedding gala in Switzerland.
