Trolling is a common thing on the social media and it’s often discussed and criticised by netizens. Well, that has been done recently by a media house named “The Cut”.

Media House Calls Priyanka A Scam Artist In Their Article. Apologizes After Receiving Criticism - RVCJ Media

Just a day after the wedding photos and videos of Nickyanka arrived, this media house published an opinion piece on Priyanka and Nick’s relationship.

While the article was extremely judgemental and rude, it was basically written to troll Priyanka. The author of the article called Priyanka a “global scam artist” who tricked Nick into a relationship. This was not the end as she created a whole idea of their relationship based on her personal assumptions which was much more than just “mean”.

As the article hit the social media, it made people talk. Industry people, friends of Priyanka and even family members of Nick called of the author for writing a garbage of an article.

Sonam Kapoor took to Twitter and condemned the piece. She wrote-

For a publication that “shows women’s what they are made of” @TheCut has a lot to answer for . The article on @priyankachopra was sexist , racist and disgusting. Also it’s written by a woman which is so sad. It reeks of envy and bitterness. @mRiah shame on you!

Nick Jonas’ brother Joe also called of the writer and said-

This is disgusting. @TheCut should be ashamed to have someone write such evil words. What Nick & Pri have is Beautiful Love. Thank u, Next.

Sophie Turner also came ahead in support of Priyanka openly and thrashed, The Cut. She wrote-

This is wildly inappropriate and totally disgusting. Very disappointed that The Cut would give anyone a platform to spew such bullshit.

After facing criticism from around the world, the article was taken down by the media house and they updated it with an apology. It read as-

Last night, the Cut published a post about Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra’s relationship that shouldn’t have gone up. We’ve received dozens of messages from readers expressing their anger. We want you to know that we hear you and we’re sorry. The whole piece missed the mark. There is no good explanation for this other than human error and poor judgement. This was a mistake, and we apologize to our readers and to Priyanka and Nick.

Meanwhile, Priyanka has stated that she is in a very happy state right now and doesn’t care about anything like this.
