The woman who represented South Africa, has been crowned “Miss Universe 2017”, We all expected India to win the Miss Universe too, just like Miss India, but there was a better deserving candidate.
We congratulate Demi Leigh Nel Peters, to have won this prestigious crown. This event took place in Las Vegas’ Planet Hollywood Casino Resort and was a grand affair.
Nel Peters was overwhelmed to win this title and we are sure, she’ll do complete justice.
The first runner up was Laura Gonzalez (Columbia) and the second runner up was Davina Bennett (Jamaica).
She has recently got her business management degree and this shows that Nel Peters is beauty with brains. 92 women participated in the competition this year.
The 13 finalists of the competition were Sri Lanka, Thailand, Spain, Croatia, Ireland, USA, Great Britain, Philippines, Canada, China, Venezuala, Brazil and Ghana.
Nel Peters, 22, has earned a yearlong salary, a luxury apartment in New York (During her reign only) and many more interesting prizes.
